She Devil

An art piece created during Art Fight 2022 for the artist Maruni, featuring their original character, Alys.

The illustration’s purpose was to explore identity and duality by depicting the calm and collected character alongside her feral and animalistic spirit counterpart. 

I used a color palette of dark pinks and purples to create a moody and atmospheric tone while also using contrast and lighting to highlight the separation between her two forms. This piece was an opportunity to interpret another artist’s character while also applying my own approach to them.
